Lusong Sound

Lusong wreck is one unnamed gunboat, which rest on a shallow reef at the edge of Lusong sound were it was named after. The wreck is shallow enough to snorkel on a single breath as parts of the hull are exposed during low tide. The surrounding coral reef however is around 40 ft / 12 mt.
The reef is full of life, you dive the reef first and reach the wreck along a sandy path at the edge of the reef. You have ample opportunity to take pictures of the reef and the wreck if the light is just perfect. Entering the wreck needs no guide as you can see each other from stem to stern as the wreck is just around 40 ft / 12 mt in length. Note that there might be instance in your dive that there will be snorkelers swimming above you and the boats that carry them, stick close to the wrecks to avoid propeller contacts.
