Shiraz Jam

Written By: Kaloy - Jan• 07•11

A _MG_2627fine oaky taste thats fine on the palette and smooth to the taste. Not sweet but acidic, ah the fine flavors of a vintage grape vine made into a fresh bottle of red Shiraz wine. Now imagine that spread over some bread or cookie.

Wine made into jam is what the folks at Hahndorf Produce Haus created, wine jam or jam that taste like wine, witch ever way you look at it its still a Shiraz that you can spread into your bread. Though some people might want to watch out for this jam since Shiraz has a little note of alcohol on it, it is after all a fine Shiraz. This would go well with fine goats cheese on crackers served for appetizers for finger foods. You can but this jam at Hahndorf Produce Haus located at 81 Main st. Hahndorf South Australia. for around $8.50 AUD.

Ingredients are

Shiraz, Sugar, Lemon Juice, Water, Castor Sugar, Pectin, Food Acid (citric acid)
